The founders, themselves residents of wildfire country and with a background in insurance, couldn't stand idly by. They knew the system was starting to fail their community, and they felt a responsibility to help.

Harris Clarke, co-founder of Lodgepole Insurance Services, is a passionate outdoors enthusiast with extensive insurance industry expertise. Living in a wildland urban interface, he empathized with neighbors facing insurance policy cancellations due to wildfire risks. Combining his firsthand experiences with a successful career at PEMCO Mutual Insurance and previous roles at Unigard Insurance/QBE of the Americas, Calypso Healthcare Solutions, and Safeco, Harris demonstrated a consistent commitment to innovation and customer-focused solutions. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, an Executive Leadership Program Certificate, and a Leadership Executive MBA from Seattle University.

With over thirty years of diverse experience, including roles in technology enterprises, startups, and leadership positions in telecom and network technology firms, Ross brings a unique blend of expertise and a deep connection to nature to Lodgepole Insurance. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and executive leadership programs.
